Enjoy a tasting of Greek food, dance, and information. The second in the BWC series on International Culture is Greek Heritage Day. The word for the day will be “opa” as dancers whirl around each table enticing members to join in. The pastitsio, (think Greek lasagna) spinach pies and Baklava are the Greek delicacies to be enjoyed. Add a travel video of Greece together with a narrative on Greek history and you have another winning combination. Make your reservation now.
Call BWC office. 914-337-3252. If paying by check please make all checks payable to the Bronxville Women’s Club with Greece noted in the memo section. Non-Members $20.00; Children under 12 $5.00. Feel free to stay & play game of choice afterwards.
The Bronxville Women’s Club’s activities are vast and attract men and women of all ages along with children. This section will highlight meetings and events that do not necessarily fall under the programs of the Music, Art, Literature, or Philanthropy Committees, joint with the Education Committee on subjects pertaining to everyday living program.
